 Ever wanted to play CHESS on your calculator, anywhere, anytime? Well, now, thanks to MawstaMountein studios, you can.
Chess SDK v1.01 will allow you to play a game of chess against a
friend (or enemy) on your FX 9860G calculator, and is complete with a
fast selection and moving system, efficient move legality testers and
"check" detection.
Features:
- Fast, smooth gameplay
- User-friendly GUI
- Large 8x8 board capable of holding up to 64 pieces
- Play against yourself or against a friend
- AI will be released in a later version
Keys:
- Arrows: Move selection
- EXE: Select/move a piece
- AC/ON: Start new game
Instructions:
- To select a piece, highlight it with the arrow keys and press EXE
- To change your selection, move to another piece and press EXE there
- To move a piece, press EXE after selecting it
- To castle, move the king to its destination square. Note: you
cannot castle if you have moved either the king or the rook at any
point in the game
- To do an en passant, move the pawn to the square where he will end upSupport:
- This is a work in progress, it may have bugs. If it does, please report them in the forums
- If you have any requests or queries, post them in the forums too. Nothing gets done if we don't know what to do
- Remember, this program is open-source. That means the code is
free for everyone to read and modify, however, if you release it
somewhere else, be sure to credit Casio-Mawster and MounteinJew, whose
joint work created this game.

- More efficient piece moving algorithms - will take up less of your precious space
- Fast drawing subs which provide much smoother gameplay
- Ability to turn off the calculator during a game
